Why don't the Android widgets update live?
On iPhone, the free Scriptable app runs the widgets, so they show your real calendar, weather and battery. Android has no free equivalent, so these widgets are pictures that cycle instead. To keep pictures honest, the pack only includes the in-world widgets (transmissions, galleries, oddities and so on), never fake weather or calendar readings. Live Android widgets need an app to run them: a free Foundry app for Android is in progress, so you won't need a paid widget app.
